The tour includes a visit to Koppertcress, Rotterdam Food Market and Nature’s Pride.
Since 2002 Koppert Cress has been creating magic at their greenhouses near Rotterdam, pushing the boundaries of seed technology and stimulating demand for their unique products. Supplying restaurants, caterers and hotels, their fresh and tasty ingredients have been helping chefs be creative and surprise their guests for many years.
Attendees will also discover what’s trending, infusion and combination possibilities and menu ideas. Nature’s Pride specialises in supply of avocados and mangoes in perfect condition. Last year saw the opening of the world's first all-avocado pop-up in London, and the trend in increasing popularity of the superfood continues with a new avocado restaurant in Amsterdam. Attendees will learn about how the ripening process is triggered and managed. Rotterdam Food Market is a large retail fresh food market renowned for the breadth and variety of produce on offer.
