
Show off your skills with getting the most out of seafood
Competitors will have 45 minutes to produce two portions of a main seafood dish.
The fish will be supplied by the sponsor on the day, the exact species of fish will be announced when we confirm the finalists, so you will have plenty of time to prepare & practice. The fish will require some knife skills to prepare.
You may use all or a minimum of two seafood items in your dish.
All other ingredients to be provided by the competitor.
Competition duration: 45-minutes
The competition is open to all levels and is an opportunity to demonstrate team work, skills and talent.
An audience will be able to watch as our eight kitchen stations cook the food in front of them.
Equipment provided in the kitchens include;
- induction hob and oven
- electric salamander grill
- preparation tables
As this is a live competition there will be spectators and you will be filmed with your work being shown on the main screens.
A full information pack will be sent to all competitors once we have announced the finalists.
Our judges will offer written feedback to all entrants.
