The Bidfood Advice Centre is a dedicated call centre, set-up in response to our customers’ requests for product information. Now receiving over 30,000 enquiries a year, this service is not only a free help desk for customers but acts as an essential resource for information for the company, and plays a key role in our commitment to customer service.
Through the Bidfood Advice Centre you have access to our resources and years of experience in the frozen, chilled, ambient, non-food and wines and spirits sectors. From our vast information bank we are able to provide advice on the products that we sell, with requests ranging from nutritional breakdowns, allergen information, cultural and dietary ranges and COSHH data sheets.
As well as providing responses over the telephone, we have also produced a number of information sheets which can be provided upon request and cover a wide range of subjects including:

The Advice Centre is open Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm. A call back service operates at weekends and on Bank Holidays.
We are a National Catering Wholesaler providing an extensive range of Frozen, Ambient and Chilled products as well as a comprehensive range of Non-Food items and Catering Equipment. Currently 40% of our total turnover is attributed to the supply of Ambient products, 33% is attributed to the supply of Frozen products, 15% is attributed to the supply of Chilled products, 7% is attributed to Fresh Meat and Produce and 5% is attributed to the supply of Non-Food Products and Catering Equipment.
We have coverage in England, Scotland and Wales and we use a ‘Hub and Spoke’ distribution network, ensuring flexible, continuous and efficient supply. Our estate includes:
