TUCO are currently recruiting for two positions; a Sustainability Manager and an Academy Trainer & Administrator.

Sustainability Manager

The purpose of this role is to lead TUCO's Sustainability agenda, from setting out an engaging strategy, with a clear connection to the business objectives and stakeholder requirements, to engaging our catering and procurement community and liaising with key suppliers and stakeholders.

Among other duties, you will:

  • Work with stakeholders to create and manage a TUCO sustainability accreditation.
  • Work with the Round Table for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and members to create and manage a group accreditation.
  • Work with the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and members to manage the group accreditation scheme.
  • Liaise with key sustainability stakeholders to raise awareness of campaigns and initiatives; including, but not limited to WRAP, NETpositive, People & Planet, EAUC.
  • Manage the NetPositive supplier sustainability tool to maximise uptake.
  • Achieve Level 5 on the Flexible Framework.
  • Work with the TUCO Academy to create sustainability courses and study tours.

Academy Trainer/Administrator

We are looking for an administrator to co-ordinate hospitality and retail learning activities overseas and in the UK, who can also deliver Level 2 and 3 food compliance courses. A background in travel and tourism or hospitality would be advantageous.

You will:

  • Work closely with the TUCO Head of Academy and the Business Administration Apprentice in all aspects of administering the Academy
  • Deliver and invigilate compliance courses and exams in institutions around the UK
  • Keep up to date with course and study tour content to ensure we provide our customers with a service that fully meets their needs and expectations.
  • Take course/tour/ development day bookings and ensure there is clear communication with attendees over the Academy activity booked. Keep accurate records of all bookings.
  • Book venues and accommodation in various locations throughout the UK, liaising with the venue organiser on all aspects of the booking including training rooms, accommodation, trainers’ needs, IT and AV needs, room layouts and attendees.
