The Love British Food challenge is to deliver two portions of a plated main course using a supplied British protein with suitable garnish and accompaniments.
Competitor will have 45 minutes to produce two portions of the dish.
Competitors are to provide all ingredients with the exception of the main protein which will be provided. The exact specie and cut of meat will be announced when we shortlist competitors.
The competition is open to all levels and is an opportunity to demonstrate team work, skills and talent.
An audience will be able to watch as our eight kitchen stations cook the food in front of them.
Equipment provided in the kitchens include;
- induction hob and oven
- electric salamander grill
- preparation tables
As this is a live competition there will be spectators and you will be filmed with your work being shown on the main screens.
A full information pack will be sent to all competitors once we have announced the finalists.
Our judges will offer written feedback to all entrants.
