    The TUCO Academy has worked hard to offer all training at a subsidised price, agreeing reduced corporate contract rates with hotels etc. - yet still understands the benefits of in-house training. To that end, working alongside the professional trainers, TUCO Academy can arrange for events to be held at your own institution, for no extra cost.

  • Who can use the training with TUCO Academy?

    All professional development events are available for ANY staff in institutions who are members of TUCO, not just employees in the hospitality, catering and commercial services department.

    The TUCO website is for our members to use, due to the commercially sensitive nature of much of the information, we do not allow suppliers to log in.

  • When can I join a framework as a supplier?

    TUCO publish adverts, specs and supporting documents to the InTend portal when a framework is due for renewal. Please ensure you have an account and check regularly for updates: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/tuco/aspx/Home. The end dates of all TUCO frameworks are visible on each framework page.

  • Do I need to tell my suppliers I have become a TUCO member?

    Yes.

  • Are all your suppliers vetted and accredited?

    Yes. Dependent on the product category, we will have assessed the supplier’s credentials to be able to supply the goods and/or services.  Please see the SQ (selection questionnaire) questions relative to the product category you are interested in.  High risk food suppliers e.g. sandwich suppliers are also continually audited to ensure they meet food safety requirements.

  • When are the key dates for a certain framework?

     You can find details of a framework’s start date by going to Procurement > Framework Agreements, then clicking into the relevant framework or DPS.

  • Is a Contract Award Notice required under a Dynamic Purchasing System?

    A contract award notice is required for each specific contract (call-off) under the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), although these may be grouped and sent quarterly, 30 days from the end of the quarter.
