The Conference was held from 25th - 27th July at Keele University.

We were delighted to welcome back members, suppliers, partners and peers to the first in-person TUCO Summer Conference since 2019. This year's Conference was held at Keele University and involved the largest marquee in Conference history (2450 square meters), as well as the first time all three social events were held on campus. With 178 delegates attending and 108 suppliers exhibiting, it was a busy few days!

The theme of this year's Conference was Breaking the Mould - encouraging members to think outside the box when it comes to addressing the challenges in-house university catering is facing today. During the three days, attendees heard from a plethora of inspiring key-note speakers covering topics ranging from innovating with plant-based, why we need to take food allergies seriously, practical food waste reduction, overcoming barriers and more.

Alongside the though-provoking speaker sessions, partners and suppliers formed part of a huge exhibition where members were able to network, discuss new products, and sample the tasty food and drink on offer.

The week culminated with a black tie Gala Dinner, where TUCO announced the winners of the TUCO Awards; celebrating effort and achievement in our member organisations. You can find the full list of Award winners here.

Photos from the Conference are available to view on the TUCO Facebook page, and you can take a look at the highlights from the Conference below.

We look forward to seeing you for the 2023 Conference!
