As a result of the escalation of COVID-19, TUCO are increasing measures to protect our staff and members against the spread of the virus which has been categorised by the World Health Organisation as a pandemic. As part of these measures, we have made some changes to the way TUCO will operate:

  • The TUCO Competitions event, scheduled for 6th-8th April 2020 at University of Warwick, has been postponed. Competitors, delegates and sponsors have been informed. Planning is underway now for when the Competitions will be postponed until, and as soon as we have a firm date we will share this with you straight away.
  • TUCO Academy face-to-face courses, study tours and training have been cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future; a minimum of 6 weeks. The Academy team will be in touch with you directly if you were booked on any of these events. We will update you on future Academy events, including rearranged dates, in due course. However, e-learning, provided by Upskill People, is still live and is an ideal way to continue your team’s learning and development. Access the Upskill People portal here.
  • TUCO staff are available to contact should you have any queries or concerns. However, the office is physically closed and we will not be conducting any face-to-face meetings – either within the TUCO office or externally. This means the upcoming Regional Meeting scheduled for 18 March 2020 in the South West region has been cancelled.
  • The TUCO procurement team are collating all supplier Coronavirus statements, which you can access here. Please note you must be logged-in to access this page.

TUCO will continue to support its members throughout the uncertainty of Coronavirus, and one way in which you can share best practice with your peers, whilst limiting face-to-face contact, is through the TUCO members forum. Click here to access the forum and join in the conversation (available to TUCO members only via login).

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the relevant team member.
