Peter is Head of Retail at the University of Sheffield, leading a team which operates 18 cafes, restaurants, bars and convenience stores.   Peter has extensive experience in catering, leadership and financial control, having held leadership roles in hotels, fast food, department stores and the education sector since 2017; he has represented the North East of England as TUCO Regional Chair providing advice and direction on food supply, I.T systems, wellbeing and innovation.
Peter is particularly passionate about creating sustainability within the foodservice sector and is at the forefront of innovation and implementation of new processes to reduce the environmental impact of retail catering and represented TUCO at the Freiburg Campus of the Future European Colloquium in 2022.  When he isn't working, he does enjoy using Ultra marathons as his way of relaxing.
