Overview

PJs began trading in 1996 attaining the BRC Food Safety standard in 2003. PJs supply to a wide selection of organisations including Universities, Colleges, Schools, The NHS, Retail units, In-flight caterers, Stadiums, Councils, and Sporting events. PJs operate from a purpose-built high care / low-risk factory in Glasgow employing 85 staff locally. With distribution to the Scottish region, PJs produce approximately 85,000 to 90,000 products per week.

Scope : The assembly of sandwiches, sandwich-type products, pasta salads, salad bowls, hospitality platters and  the assembly of bespoke packed lunches bags.

PJs source from several Scottish food manufacturers providing provenance within the range.

A key focus for the company has been our community benefit and sustainability activities including waste reduction.

Healthy Living Criteria: PJs have worked with the team since 2006 identifying which products comply with the criteria. In addition, we have collectively changed some product specifications to achieve the values required. Our order sheets reflect compliance by simply using a Green/Red color-coding system.
