Overview

Tri-Star was formed in 1990 by Kevin Curran and Kevin Prosser. In 2016 Tri-Star became part of Bunzl UK and remains an independent operating company with financial backing of a PLC. Lee Richards has been with the company for 19 years and is Tri-Star’s Sales and Marketing Director.

We are proud to be one of the largest distributors of packaging, catering disposables and hygiene products within the UK and have become recognised as leaders within the industry for Innovation and Customer Service within the market place.  Tri-Star have received many nominations and awards for “New product of the Year” and “New concept of the Year” at recent trade association awards ceremonies.

As members of Industry leading associations, we are able to be knowledgeable and aware of all existing legislation as well as being in the forefront of any changes or new legislation that may affect not just Tri-Star but also our Clients.

Tri-Star have grown its’ business on the foundation of a varied customer base including Retail To Go outlets, Contract Caterers, School Catering establishments and Government run institutions such as the NHS and Local Authorities.  Tri-Star are also leaders in supplying packaging, hygiene and disposable products to the large food production units who supply both local and national supermarket such as Marks and Spencer, Waitrose and Sainsbury.

At Tri-Star we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality, innovation and service. The range of products offered encompasses disposables, hygiene and janitorial, paper as well as packaging and is one of the most comprehensive in the market.  Currently Tri-Star have over 6000 live products. We offer a national distribution on a daily basis.  We are recognised for being approachable, easy to do business with and committed to our customers.
